Ensemble Means Together: Sistema Toronto Strikes a Chord for Giving Tuesday

On this Giving Tuesday, Sistema Toronto proudly reaffirms its commitment to enriching the lives of youth in Toronto’s underserved communities through the power of music and community. With the resonating theme, "Ensemble Means Together," Sistema Toronto is calling on the community to unite in support of their mission to empower, educate, and foster transformative social change through music education.

As a special bonus, Sistema Toronto Founders, Robert and Ellen Eisenberg, will be ensuring all donations made before the end of the year go twice as far: they will be generously matching all donations made to Sistema Toronto up to $250,000.

Sistema Toronto, a non-profit organization, works with over 400 students each year, providing a platform for self-expression, creativity, and personal growth through ensemble-based music education. Over the next five years, they plan to expand the reach of their program and hope to bring their programming to 1000 students by 2028. This Giving Tuesday, the charity seeks to bring the community together to raise funds to keep the program thriving and support their expansion.

The "Ensemble Means Together" campaign underscores the importance of unity and collective action in building a warm, welcoming, and supportive community in which young people can feel at home. Just as the instruments in an orchestra come together to create harmony, Sistema Toronto believes that individuals from all walks of life can come together to create something beautiful and meaningful.
