The Sistema Toronto Choir would like to say “Good Job” to essential and frontline workers, teachers, and parents who have kept us safe and well during the last year. The entire Sistema Toronto community is thankful for these unsung heroes who have sacrificed so much, and also acknowledges everyone who has been struggling to do their best during these challenging times. To each and every one of you: please know you are not alone, you matter, and you are doing a good job.

Sistema Toronto students from all 3 centres – Jane-Finch, East Scarborough, and Parkdale – joined together to create the performance video, choosing a song that speaks to the struggles of this last year as a dedication to the essential workers that have kept us all safe. The entire Sistema Toronto community is thankful for these unsung heroes who have sacrificed so much, and also acknowledges everyone who has been struggling to do their best during these challenging times. The video was premiered at the Year-End Community Celebration on June 17th, and is now officially released to the public.

“As we move towards the recovery phase of the pandemic and start to return to parts of our normal lives, we must not forget the sacrifices that essential workers made in order to keep us safe", said Christie Gray, Executive Director of Sistema Toronto. "We will never be able to repay the hard work, endless hours, and outstanding commitment to our wellbeing, but this is our small way of saying thank you. From the staff and students of Sistema Toronto, we appreciate you and want you to know that you have been doing, and continue to do, a good job.”
